Personal, one-on-one evangelism is the best way to share the gospel. However, not every situation presents that kind of opportunity. Here are some tips for using tracts in other ways to reach people with the message of the gospel.
Place a tract inside the envelope when you pay bills or send cards to loved ones who don’t know the Lord.
Encourage your church to get involved with the Fellowship Tract League. Many churches will place a tract rack in their foyer to equip their members a way to share the gospel in their community.
Leave a tract with a tip the next time you’re at a restaurant. Tract #184, Thank You for Your Hospitality, was designed for this very use. If you leave a tract with a tip, be sure the tip is generous—reflect God’s generous gift of salvation to us!
This tract contains a genuine message of thanks and a clear, concise presentation of the gospel.
Keep tracts in your glove compartment and your pocket or purse so they’re always there when you need them!
Please don’t put tracts in mailboxes. Not only is it a federal crime, it is a violation of privacy and reflects poorly on the Fellowship Tract League, local churches, and Jesus Christ. Also, please don’t leave tracts in places where they are likely to end up on the ground (park benches, public toilets, etc). We receive many letters from angry people because they have found tracts littered on the ground. This also reflects poorly on the Fellowship Tract League. We want to be wise stewards of what God has given us, and that includes tracts.
